Quaker Studies is published on behalf of the Quaker Studies Research Association.
In partnership with the Open Library of the Humanities, Quaker Studies is a fully open access journal and all content is freely available. There is no Article Publishing Charge for authors and all articles from 2018 onwards are published under a CC-BY license.
Published twice yearly in June and December, Quaker Studies is the only refereed journal covering all aspects of Quaker Studies. The journal is multi-disciplinary and articles submitted typically cover the subject areas of aesthetics, anthropology, architecture, art, cultural studies, history, literature, peace studies, philosophy, research methodology, sociology, theology, and women’s studies
The journal is also co-sponsored by the Centre for Research in Quaker Studies at Woodbrooke and the American Academy of Religion Quaker Studies Group: https://papers.aarweb.org/pu/quaker-studies-unit
Quaker Studies is indexed and abstracted in Scopus.
QSRA receives a portion of subscription income from Liverpool University Press (LUP) which helps to maintain all the scholarly activities we support or initiate: the annual conference, the George Richardson Lecture, and the David Adshead Scholarship.
