About QSRA

The Quaker Studies Research Association, formed in 1992 and with an international membership of around 250, is the umbrella organisation for all those studying, teaching, researching or connected with research into one of the areas of Quaker Studies. Equally many join who are interested in the findings of this research.

QSRA holds an annual conference, usually at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham, England each year. It also hosts the George Richardson Lecture, the prestigious annual lecture in Quaker studies. Members receive the annual Research Register, a newsletter and the fully-refereed journal, 'Quaker Studies', currently published for QSRA, twice a year.

Membership includes:

1) advance information of all QSRA events and news of related conferences and new publications
2) a copy of the annual QSRA Research Register, listing members and their current areas of interest
3) free subscription to the twice annual journal Quaker Studies, normally priced at £25/$40pa.

Membership rates are £12 pa for those with an income of less than £9999pa, £22pa for those with an income greater than £10000/$14000pa, or US$20/ $35.
Subscriptions run until December, of the current year if you join before
September 1, to the following year if you join after September 1.

Quaker Studies is multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary. It feeds into
and from theology, history, philosophy, politics, sociology, anthropology,
womens studies, peace studies, development studies and cultural studies
